It is a requirement in Australia that all nurses must be registered and all qualifications assessed by The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). You also need to show proof of English language proficiency.
Qualified nurses from non-English speaking countries like the Philippines and India are required to complete a competency based assessment program or bridging course which can take from 9-12 weeks depending on the bridging course provider. All of these are necessary before you become eligible for registration.
After you have completed the bridging course program and obtained your registration, ALLSKILLS will assist you in seeking employment that matches your qualifications.
